Our... Journey
Initially, the EYES tables were women only and held virtually due to the pandemic. Frank would make guest appearances to give a needed male perspective. From there, it became apparent that his lens and insight would be crucial for the future tables and talks that would include men and women.
We were already doing the work together behind closed doors, so bringing "us" to the forefront was inevitable. This journey together has allowed me to see a more vulnerable side of my husband which I am grateful he is also willing to share with others.
Michelle Madge Strong, Founder
Michelle Strong was born in Defuniak Springs, Florida. Being a military dependent afforded her the opportunity to live in over ten states from the east to west coast. She has also lived abroad in Guam, Japan and England. She graduated from Liberty University with a Psychology degree, minoring in Christian Counseling. Michelle became a licensed chaplain because she views the importance of shepherding these conversations. Mentoring youth and young adults within schools, churches and the community has been her passion for over twenty years. She writes poetry that challenges readers to acknowledge and embrace their feelings while keeping a firm hold to their faith.
